Les Deux Alpes (with Col de Sarenne)
French Alps, we start from the legendary Alpe d'Huez. We leave behind the last buildings we immerse ourselves in nature rideing to Col de Sarenne. The road is easy and allows us to admire the beautiful landscape.
With the Warmed muscles, we start a strong climb of two Kms with an average slope of 8% and 11% to the Col de Sarenne.
Arrived at the top, we can appreciate the beautiful landscape of the surrounding mountains. After it We start the famous and terrible descent who saw the attack of Contador and Kreuziger to Froome (the yellow jersey) of the Tour de France 2013. In fact, the road is bumpy and without protection. It's is little more than a footpath. We arrive to the dam of Chambon where we turn left and begin to climb to Les Deux Alpes. The climb measures almost 9 km, has a slope fairly regular 7% and some stretches up to 9%. Once in Les Deux Alpes we pass through the ski resort center to the last downhill easy kilometers that allow us to relax the muscles.
