Bolca (Verona)
We Depart from Verona, the romantic city of Romeo and Juliet, where we can admire the Church of San Giorgio in Braida, the Adige river, the Church of St. Stephen, the Stone Bridge of Roman origin, the Roman theater, Ponte Navi and the Monumental Cemetery. T, then continue along the Val Pantena uphill passing through Grezzana.
After 20 km we start the climb of Cerro Veronese, the home of the bike racer Damiano Cunego, length = 6.9 Km: Altimeters = 455 hm Slope = Max 8.5% Average = 6.6%.
At km 30 begins the ascent of Velo Veronese, length = 8.7 km, altitmeters = 470 hm, Slope = Max 9% Average = 5.4%
At 50 km another climb to San Bortolo, length Km = 5.0, Altimeters = 393 hm, Slope = Max 10 .2% Average = 7.9%
At the end of the uphill this climb we arrive in the village from which this videorace takes its name. Bolca is a mountain resort in the town of Lessinian Vestenanova (province of Verona) that lies in the Val d'Alpone, known since the mid-sixteenth century to for the extraordinary fish fossils found there, the most famous of which is the Mene rhombea, and plants from the localities of the Pesciara and Monte Postale.
After Bolca we descentd towards Chiampo where begins the last climb to Nogarole, length = 4.8 Km, Altimeters = 342 hm, Slope= Max 11% Average Slope = 7.1%
Finally, we descend into the valley of Agno where the race ends.
