Passo Falzarego
Video start the race from Alleghe, along its beautiful lake, and then proceed gently up the valley for about 5 km, for a good warm up.
Beyond Cortina we start the tricky and irregular climb of the Passo Tre Croci, almost 8 km long, with a vertical rise of 550 hm and an average slope of 7% with a peak of 9%. Descending from the Tre Croci, we arrive at Misurina Lake, with spectacular views of its waters nestled between the Dolomites peaks.
Arriving in Caprile we turn right to face the first uphill to Santa Lucia, through Selva di Cadore. This climb is long 11 km, with a gain of 500 hm, average slope of 4.5% with a maximum of 10%. From the top we can see the Marmolada massif. After a short descent we climb towards Cernadoi. Here begins the challenging Passo Falzarego, which is over 9 km long, with a gain of 600 meters and an average slope of 6.3% with a peak of 9%. We descend to Cortina d'Ampezzo, with fantastic views of the Conca d'Oro and Monte Cristallo.
