Passo della Presolana
This route starts at Schilpario, in the first few easy kilometers we prepare the legs to face the difficult climb of the Passo della Presolana. The climb starts Dezzo Scalve and can be divided into three parts, with completely different gradients and difficulty. The first part is pedaled and the relatively modest difficulty allows us to fully enjoy the view over the Val di Scalve. After the turning for the village of Colere begins the second part of the climb, the difficult one. After the tunnel the road climbs decided, appears the first sign indicating 14%. When you are passing in front of a bar-restaurant where you can see an old military fighter, the slope becomes really feel. When we overcome the third sign that marks the 14%, it will have a long and difficult ramp that ends only when the first of a series of hairpins. But the tough little respite: a few meters and again a 14% reporting. This time the ramp is shorter and ends with a harpine turn to the right. Now it's done: we are in the third part of the climb and the slopes coming back pretty easy up to the summit. After a right bend, it appears a straight wide surrounded by hotels, shops and parking. We are on the Presolana. We go down to Castione della Presolana where the race ends.
